Coach Jeff Plympton

A former Major League pitcher for the Boston Red Sox. Jeff was selected in the 10th round of 1987 draft out of the University of Maine, where he played college baseball for the Black Bears from 1985 to 1987. Plympton posted a 2-1 record with a 1.06 ERA for Maine in the 1986 College World Series. Overall that summer, he finished 7-2 with a 3.10 ERA. In four relief appearances for Boston, Plympton recorded a perfect 0.00 ERA.

Plympton also played in the Red Sox minor league system from 1987 to 1993.
